Agent Foundry architecture
Agent Foundry ships through four channels: public npm (@youcisla/agent-foundry), GitHub Packages, PyPI (agent-foundry-runtime), and the MCP Registry (io.github.youcisla/agent-foundry). The same version is published to every channel by one release workflow.
The local runtime is a Python package. It provides a FastAPI daemon on 127.0.0.1:8765, a SQLite execution log, a deterministic skill index, and an MCP stdio server. Nothing runs in the cloud.
Skills and agents are plain Markdown with YAML frontmatter. The knowledge graph is generated from the codebase and feeds graph-aware planning, so related skills rank higher for a prompt.
